  6. Accessing your security system remotely requires a high-speed Internet connection. Ensure your NVR has a wired connection to a router (not included). A minimum upload speed of 6Mbps is recommended for reasonable video performance.
  7. HDMI output supports 4K HD for high definition multi-channel live or recorded video viewing. Image quality and resolution is dependent on the type of camera connected to the NVR, as well as TV/monitor resolution.
  8. Detection types need to be supported by the camera.

Pre-recording is available only when using Motion Detection and can be viewed exclusively during local playback. This feature is not supported for Smart Motion Detection (SMD), continuous recording, or through the Lorex app or cloud services. The duration of the pre-recorded footage may vary based on the recorder available cache memory at the time the event was detected, up to a maximum time set by the user.

"Very disappointed. Research indicated a good product so I went with it. This suite of cameras and nvr are terrible and the software/app is the worst on the market. The app doesn't even know that 6am is after 10 pm. I can't connect 2 cameras as there is no manual way to add as the software doesn't even list the newer cameras. Avoid this company if you value your sanity."

So far not very happy

"So far not very happy with the system. I have spoke to at least 3 Lorex helpers, and still cannot get the cameras to work. I will try again this morning to see if we can get them working. The people I dealt with were all professional ,polite and patient with me as I am not a technical expert. This is the fourth system I have purchased and by far the most frustrating."

"DVR needs more memory to operate. Too slow. Cryptic dashboard for data entry in fields provided. Allow more than one user to be concurrently logged in. Great picture quality. Setup was was good. Interfaces were operational ."

Fusion nvr is very limited to upgrade

"Do not buy a fusion series nvr if you might ever want to upgrade to cameras that actually zoom in or have any ptz capabilities. After installing my system I found 2 areas I would really like to add ptz cameras but have no options without trashing a couple thousand $ worth of equipment and starting over. There is one option only that is wifi and wall mount only, neither cover my needs. Total disappointment. Wish I would have done alot more research before purchasing my equipment. Would have went with a system I could actually upgrade or went with a different brand all together."

Unusable with wifi guest network or range extender

"Useless with wifi cameras which are on a range enxtender. The classic app can deal will all my cameras whether they are on the main or gues network and whether or not the wifi connection comes through a range extender. This NVR does none of that and so is completely unfit for my purpose, despite the claimed compatibility. This weekend I will pack it up for return and refund."

Ok but skips 1-2 seconds of recording and playback

"Fans is noisy. Have this in my laundry room low voltage box and it’s way too loud. Cheap fans. Second and even bigger issue myself and others have experienced is this horrible skipping issue. As you are watching video back it will skip 1-2 seconds of the video. So you can miss exact moments something happened due to this issue. Do some searching in this issue. Lorex doesn’t care and has no answers why it doesn’t. Camera is fine and has worked well. But doesn’t mean much if your playback and recording is skipping and missing video. Move on to something else. Trust me. Lorex didn’t care about replacing or trying to resolve the issue."

My N884A64B NVR just died. I'm thinking of switching to the N910A62 Fusion. Current wired cameras (3) E841CA-Z, (4) LNB9292 and (1) E893DD-E. a) will they all work on the Fusion? b) can I also add a B463AJDB-E doorbell? c) can the Fusion be accessed in a PC browser (via IP address) like the N884A64B?
