"Set-up was unbelievably simple and the video quality is excellent. This is a great product. The only two features I wish it had: Ability to fast forward much faster than 8x when playing back previously recorded video, and would like to be able to turn off POE and utilze an external POE source."
Manuals and Setup Guides are Not Very Informative
"Equipment seems to be good enough for a 4-5 star, it's the website support and help that deserves a 2 at best. I have been searching for manuals that I need to set up all the nuances of the system such as motion detection, alerts, sound etc. but everything is extremely cluttered with adverstising and it takes me to many different web pages for the same Model with just advertising. Don't understand why there can't be an all inclusive comprehensive manual all in one place. Further more, the guides are not very informative nor comprehensive by any stretch. -Very Frustrating!"
After 9 years of continuous
"After 9 years of continuous use my old lorex system started failing. I called customer service and they recommended the elite series 4 tb and after over 1 month it is performing flawlessly with my older cameras still in use. The only real problem i have is you created new software for IO and Android systems but I have found out you have no intentions of creating a new version for apple and pc. There is a lot of users that use these systems and should be given more consideration for a upgrade. By the way, I love your Lorex door bell cam as well."

"Camera 4k 16 channel NVR works very well easy to hook up my other 4k camera over heated the processor hard drive so i had to buy a new one once i ordered it it came really fast i just unplugged the old one and called Lorex to help me with being able to view it on my phone they were very helpful i set it up and so far its working find i wish the price of the unit was a little cheaper but other then that it works fine"
Excellent Products Great Quality
"We have always used Lorex devices in our homes, because they are easy to operate, the storage is substantial and the system as a whole runs very smoothly without a hitch. The first thing we do when we buy an NVR is take out the power supply fans and replace them with superquiet Noctua fans so the only thing that I would suggest to Lorex is that they put quieter cooling fans in their NVR units. Great products!"

- With the sequence function, you can set which cameras are displayed on the screen and the order in which they rotate.
- Can more than 16 cameras be connected to the system through an additional network switch? if so is there a max number of cameras?
- The N884A6 is a 16-channel recorder and is hardware-limited to a maximum of 16 cameras total. Even if you connect an external PoE switch. If your installation requires up to 32 cameras, you would indeed need to use the N884A3
- Is there a recommendation on a license plate recognition camera that is compatible with the Elite Series NVR.
