- HDMI output supports 4K HD for high definition multi-channel live or recorded video viewing. Image quality and resolution is dependent on the type of camera connected to the NVR, as well as TV/monitor resolution.

A bit rough on the software side.
"Instalation is mostly plug n play. The software on the other side mist some finishing. For example a bad admin password combo doesn’t return an error message, it just rewind you back to reinter your credentials. And I think the subscription method could be easier coz a lot of people don’t need that much security features. I would also appreciate to be able to connect remotely to the NVR to ajust ALL the settings possible not just the basic ones. All in all it seams to be a pretty robust system that I would recommend but asking for a bit of knowhow to set up."

We are replacing our existing
"We are replacing our existing cameras mostly due to the poor software included with that nvr. We had a few small issues when setting up the cameras but a quick chat with support got us back to where we wanted to be. And we were able to even use one of the original cameras from the old system so we currently have 9 cameras being recorded. My wife is so much more happier with the access from her phone something the other system was very poor at. This is the 5th system I have helped friends and family setup. Will all of they very pleased with the setup and useage"

"I think its got a defective one or something. Its making this constant buzzing noise, doesn't sound like the fan, maybe the power supply or the hardtive. Its pretty noticeable louder than my fridge."

I’m hooking up the last
"I’m hooking up the last cameras and will be a few days yet. Running wiring through the attic to different corners and burying cables to garage. Once completed, I will reach out to Lorex to get phone access. This is my second system ( new home )."

"Constant high volume fan noise in NVR is unacceptable. Lorex should never have released this product with this fault. Unable to remove unused/blank camera views from "live view". This wastes available monitor screen viewing area."
