"These cameras are very easy to install (think Dahua brand easy), and the Lorex NVR finds them in seconds with zero issues requiring you to pull out a laptop. Video quality is fantastic per the 12MP resolution. Solid metal build quality instead of cheap plastic. It's gonna be very hard for any other company to beat this camera!"
"The h30 is a good camera that gives you pretty much everything you need. The 4k capabilities are unmatched with wide angle views coupled with all the deterrence options make for a solid camera. Set the camera for auto zoom for face masks. The siren and light options do a wonderful job of scaring the bad guy."
"The 50 cent fan in the NVR is obscenely loud. Don’t put it anywhere that doesn’t have sound isolation. Great white noise if you want to put your baby to sleep."
"Excellent camera when used with the Fusion NVR and iOS app. Very easy to set up, I also installed the lorex cloud application on my windows computer to see the camera feed and recordings on a bigger screen."
"The new smart motion cameras are a game changer for me. I live up in the mountains and though my cameras are for security, they are primarily for capturing wildlife around the house. The older Lorex cameras I had would alert constantly during fog or snow or wind or just the shadows of trees moving on the ground. The new cameras make the alerts much more useable. These cameras seem to do alerts very concisely, picking up vehicles and people more than 100 feet away and alerting on animals pretty consistently. I do get a chuckle, because the cameras must treat all bipeds as humans and the wild turkeys are always alerted as people. It's a real treat to get an animal alert and run outside to see a mountain lion or moose walking through the yard. The video quality is very good. Same with the night vision. I recently started putting cameras out on trees in the yard on 200 & 300 feet of POE cable instead of the old-fashioned game cameras that had to be manually checked."

"These cameras are better than Ring in terms of resolution and clarity when zooming but they do not have the reach I was hoping for and still get washed out by outside light sources like headlights. You cannot see who is sitting in a car 30' away if the headlights are pointing toward the camera. Ring app is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of thumbnails, notifications, previews, and the ability to share videos."
