"Had some issues with the system and had to call Tech Support 3 times. After getting no where with Lorex tech support I had to solve it myself. This is my third Lorex security system and it's by far the worse experience. The system isn't easy to program especially the DVR. Right now it's working as advertised. Very frustrating."

"This system works as it should. . . but. . . why do I have to enter a password every time I want to view footage from the DVR on the monitor? Can't there be an option to not have to use a password every time? Also wished your could pick which camera numbers you could display on the screen at the same time, not just "1-4" or 1-8" or "5-12", etc. Like an option to pick what numbers to display-cameras "1, 7, 9, & 12"."

I was worried that I would have to run new wires from my 1st floor in to the walls and up to the 2nd floor in to the attic for my cameras as it was hard work to run the original low voltage wires on the 1st system I purchased. This recent purchased allowed me to use the same type dual wire connectors so what a relief. thank you,"

"New DVR has an excessively noisy fan for cooling. The constant drone is annoying (and unnecessary). It should be replaced by a quiet (better) fan. The smart cameras are much improved. If I had known that the fan was so noisy I would not have bothered to update my Lorex system (the old one made NO noise)."
