"the field of view is the wrong shape/orientation. . . it is very high and very narrow. . . I expected it to be wider especially since it is a 16:9. . . very bizarre i don't need to see 80 ft over my neighbour' s house. . . i wished i'd bought the same model as my previous. . . maybe you want to force us to buy another wide view camera?!! otherwise works great…"

"Extremely disappointed in technical department and customer service. The unit I purchased directly from Lorex on 22nd June 2026 was defective. Your technical staff took awhile to realize there was a problem and then had to call customer service who processed the warranty and promised to send an email within 24 to 48 hours. This never happened and I had to call thrm again today 6th July. I hope to hear bavk frombthem in snother 34 to 48 hours!"
"Waste of money. Constant network and hardware issues. Doesn't work when you need it most. The 9:16 aspect ratio is very annoying as well. You don't see what's important. Instead you see a sliver in front of the door, mixed with all sky. This causes it to not cover all the porch area, and miss a lot of movement or action. Save your money and do your research. Just buy the Reolink or the Eufy. Way better quality and connectivity than this garbage."
"Device is fine with good video recording and wide field of view. App does not work consistently or reliably even with a strong wifi or 5g+ phone signal. Takes a long time to connect to the remote device and returns a 'oops. . . ' message more often than a connection. Lorex seems very hard to connect with as they don't seem to have a simple chat function for help. The hardware seems ok, the software appears at this time to need a significant update before it is useable. Cannot recommend at this time."

"Week one with our doorbell camera So far so good. We caught our first thief with the doorbell camera on the first night after installation. Picture quality is great. Coverage is excellent too. We can see the whole garage entrance on it. Look good too. Still learning about all the features. The app is user friendly. Lorex is a good choice!"
