"Unable to get the unit to function. The square light around the bell on the front of the unit is either solid blue or a flashing red. Unable to determine the issue. I am leaning toward my old Eufy doorbell camera not needing the same amount of power to operate as this one. Any help would be great."
"Had to update the transformer on the doorbell wiring during installation. Also, updated the microSD card to 256Gb. Doorbell works great! Excellent picture, audio very clear, app is user friendly, immediate doorbell notifications/sensor movement, 24/7 recording with plenty of storage, and best of all no subscription. Love this doorbell, would highly recommend."
"Horribly narrow field of view, strange alert triggering, unreliable app. Just a no-go, and since they would not replace it with a 2K version, it will end up in the trash, total waste of money and time. And the door chime requires a module wired up at the chime, whereas the Ring didn't. Not that I'll ever go back to Ring, but I will be switching so something else."
"When the doorbell is linked to the NVR, the view using the Lorex Classic App is distorted because the camera's aspect ratio is set 16:9. I prefer linking the camera to the NVR as the images are stored in the NVR rather than the doorbell. The distortion makes it difficult to view what's going on at a glance. My workaround is to also have the camera in the app separately as well."
