"I was told the only way to make my Lorex 4K video doorbell work was to buy this power adapter. I was assured that if I did not need it I would be refunded both the cost of the power adapter and the cost of shipping plus I would not have to pay for return shipping. I did not need it and when I called to request the promised refund I was told it would be reviewed which would take 5-7 business days for them to let me know and the person told me I would definitely not be reimbursed for the shipping I had already paid and was not sure if I would have to pay for the return shipping as well. I objected and they just kept repeating that they would let me know in 5-7 business days (it has been 8 business days at this writing) and I still have not heard from whomever it is that is reviewing my request for reimbursement. VERY UNHAPPY in Oregon."

- If I connect the doorbell power adapter to a 2k Battery Operated Video Doorbell will it be capable of recording 24/7 to an NVR since conserving battery power should no longer be a concern?
- It depends on the model of your doorbell, if it allows a wired connection so that it is on 24/7, and if you also have a fusion recorder compatible with that doorbell, yes, it will record continuously.
- So I notice the output power for this adapter is 24VDC. But the doorbells say they require 18-24VAC. So do the cameras actually support either AC or DC, or is this actually an AC power adapter?
