"Hi, I love this security system. It integrated seemlessly with my existing cameras. That was awesome, but when I installed the new dual lense 4k cameras it took the system to a new level. "So disappointed! We upgraded our 6 yr old lorex 1080p cameras and recorder to this new set up and are so disappointed! It is literally a down grade in camera image quality and a massive down grade in night vision capability. We used to be able to see our whole yard at night now I can barely see my car in the driveway unless I turn on my outside lights. We purchased cat6 cables to ensure things were clear and the video is so grainy that even during the day you can't tell who someone is unless you know before hand who they are. SO SO disappointed and now it's all run and I can't take it out and return it. Wish we had never upgraded. I will not be buying another system from Lorex after this. Additionally if your going to buy from Lorex ensure no holiday, I mean NO holiday, is coming because they seem to do sales for every holiday and if your like me you may buy your set up only to see that 4 days later they put them on sale for $100s of dollars cheaper so not only did we get garbage but we got garbage for $100s of dollars more than we could have 4 days later. I mean who does St. Patricks day sales on security hardware? Christmas? yes Black Friday? yes Cyber Monday? yes but St. Patricks day? Come on."
