"software app doesn't always start all 8 cameras, some of them will not come on when app is opened in the evening without pushing play button several times. MY network is running at 400 mb/sec I shouldn't have any issues with a camera coming on or pulling up. The initial install seemed fine and every time I received a notification all 8 cameras where on, now in the evening they don't all come on. Love the notifications, only receive a handful everyday. but its frustration to open the open and not all the cameras are on. . ."

- If you connect this camera to a PoE port, you can use an Ethernet cable up to 300ft to transmit the signal and power; if you use a longer cable, you must connect an individual power supply directly to the camera. You may use Cat5e cables; however, for improved video signal transmission from the recorder, Cat6 cables are recommended.
