This switch lasted 2 weeks

"This switch lasted 2 weeks after the install. This was a replacement for my last Lorex 16-channel switch that lasted about 2 yrs. After one week the fans could be heard in the lower part of my house. I knew this was a problem because that is what happened to my last switch before it stopped working. exactly 2 weeks after the install it stopped working. Had to return for a refund."

Q&A

Do you offer upgrade and installation of cameras and if so how much the cost? I currently have 16 cameras installed but I would like to extend up to 24 and will I be able to view all cameras at the same time on my TV monitor as I can with the 16 cameras I currently have installed.
If your recorder supports more than 16 cameras, channels can display all cameras on your TV simultaneously. Lorex recommends Installernet for professional installation: https://www.lorex.com/pages/installernethttps://www.lorex.com/pages/installernet
What cat wire is required for the 16 channel poe?
Whether you connect the cameras to the PoE switch or directly to the NVR, you can use CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cables.
Can I use this switch to extend the distance between my cameras and N843 or N845 NVR? For example, connect cameras to this switch. This switch to my router. Then my NVR to the router?
Yes, that connection is possible, however take into account the number of cameras that each system supports.
Whats the warranty period of this 16 channel Poe switch
1 year.
Is this switch compatible with a LNR110?
No, the LNR110 supports only up to 4 cameras, and the switch is to add up to 16.
