Durable good cameras. Of maybe
"Durable good cameras. Of maybe 50 we've installed we have had just one fail without a reason. Not perfect but good. Still no word from Lorex on how to power these when you are using an antenna for data. We have tested that they run on 12 volt, as advertised. They also run on 48v but different pins (wires in the ethernet cable). But they don't run on 24v in our tests. Lorex needs to clarify how to power remote cameras. It is a common installation."
I love the camera. Very
"I love the camera. Very clear day and night. It connected first time. I have the camera about about 700 feet from a PoE switch. No problem at all. The switch is about 300 feet from my NVR."
Must Have for Business
"Incredible camera. I can easily read license plates with this"
Cameras worked perfectly.
"Cameras worked perfectly."
Bought 8 of these nocturnal 4
"WOW. The night vision is absolutely incredible on these bad boys. PAY ATTENTION that the LNB9383 bullet and the LNB9282B are different cameras! The nocturnal 4 is literally twice as large as the nocturnal 3. I bought some nocturnal 3 as well and they are really good cameras as well but the nocturnal 4 are larger, and do have a better picture with better night vision. If you want LONG RANGE then without a doubt you need the nocturnal 4 bullet cameras. It says night vision of 200ft and it really means it. If you have the camera pointed at an entry way you don't technically need the N4 bullet camera I would use the N3 dome. The N4 dome is also larger than the N3 dome as well. The cameras were easy to set up and it was nice only running one poe cable for the camera. Wish i could daisy chain them but it doesn't work that way.... It was easy to set up but I dont know how to set up the thermal to find common pathways or the door entry counter. As far as price and value, these are the best cameras on the market. I highly recommend you buy these and install them yourself its not hard. My mom was going to hire her "security guy" to put up 6 half decent cameras for $4,000. Huge rip off. I bought her these 8MP cameras (Which is very high quality for security cameras, my google nest cameras are only 2MP), got like 12 of them mix and match for $3,000. They are watching over her ranch in GA, the pond, the horses, the buildings, and the pool. I dont work for lorex, but seeing as how much you can charge to install cameras and how easy it was, it looks like an easy side hustle. Anyways, dont look further their support is awesome and the video saves locally. So awesome."
different cameras
"what is the difference between the 9282b and the 9383. ?"

Fantastic Night Vision
"Great features and functionality. Zoom and focus, slot for a micro-sd card; amazing night-vision and overall picture quality and crispness."
Almost perfect
"perfect camera however a thermal camera really needs to be perfected by lorex for the ultimate security"
William G
"These cameras are very clear and have a wide peripheral view. The thing I like the most about Lorex security cameras is that they have made their products user friendly. This system is easy to install and the support team has been very helpful."
Q&A
- What are the cable specifications that will allow this ePoe camera to reach it's full potential of 2000ft? Cat5? Cat6? Sheilded? Unsheilded? Anything else?
- You only need shielded CAT5e or CAT6 cables to use the maximum capacity of the ePoE switch.
