"image is reasonable for what it is. . . . . takes way too long in the app to populate the screen and be visible. You should be able to hard wire it to existing exterior lighting. . . . you can't. It's got a plug with a transformer end that goes in an outlet. . . Any would be intruder can simply un plug it. . . no more security light."
"Slightly better then garbage, recording setting are horrible. It cannot do continuous recording. Fails often when trying view history on app. save picts in 5kb useless"
"Camera itself, decent clarity. Reset button on exterior of camera, so easily reset by anyone that can reach it. Glitches A LOT and has to be Reset. Drops wifi constantly, doesnt tell you its offline either. Difficult to reconnect, have to completely remove camera from account and readd it. App is a complete failure. It doesnt work half the time, wont let you in just glitches. All updates and firmware "updated". Lorex technical support is never any help. Do not waste your money. You will regret this purchase."

"I'm still testing it inside garage because the floodlight camera keep on getting offline after (every) 2 or 3 days usage. Need to plug and unplug the powerline. I am using another 4 LOREX lightbulb cameras. They work fine, so don't know why. Fyi，(Floodlight camera) need to use LOREX Connect app and (Lightbulb camera) need to use LOREX Classic app. I'm now testing the Floodlight camera for 4th round and today is the 3rd day. Hopefully it would not offline. And it works for maybe a week, I will put in outside the garage because it is not easy to plug and unplug the powerline outside. "Absolutely the worst Wifi camera I own. I have several other Lorex cameras that use the Lorex classic application but I bought two of these newer ones and they will not stay connected to Wifi. I called support several times and they have me reset the camera which means I have to get a ladder and take it off the wall. After a few tries with the first, they had me try the unopened one and it behaved in the same manner. I have them as I travel for work frequently but they are useless and support is very lacking."
"I am very happy with my purchase of 2k Flood lights, I put one out in my chicken coop and the other out by my beehives. Great night vision and I can keep watch for predators at night as well as anytime. I really like that I can pan them to get looks in all the areas I need. . well done!!"

"Was working good, then kept disconnecting from the Wi-Fi- had to remove the camera in the app and start all over a few times. Then found out you have to have a close very strong Wi-Fi connection! Moved around and found a good strong signal then all was well!!!!!"
"Been using the FL301 for a while and no major issues. The brightness is definitely enough at night. I needed an extension cord for the outlet, but since this is a rental, not needing Ethernet or a fixed IP was actually a plus. Easy setup overall."
