I replaced a 10 year

"I replaced a 10 year old Lorex NVR system as some cameras had given up and my house was already wired for PoE cameras. The NVR is much quieter than the old model thankfully. The cameras are top notch, 4K quality is so much better than my old 1080p cameras. I was able to use a few of the old cameras with this NVR just fine in the less traveled areas around my home. I was able to help a person that was in an accident with a clip for her insurance company that my old cameras wouldn’t have been able to capture. The dual lenses give quite an extensive field of vision. Very happy with this purchase."

I love these cameras! They

"I love these cameras! They can replace two cameras easily. Also, very impressed with the audio, can detect from a fair distance. Very plug and play. My older NR916X-N NVR detected these cameras quickly."

I am very impressed with

"I am very impressed with the clarity and functions of this camera. The 180 degree feature is great for the location near my pool. Additionally, the verbal announcement feature and motion activated small floodlights is a plus."

Great camera. I have two

"Great camera. I have two mounted. I have one mounted above the garage door about 15 feet up. You can try to skim the wall/door to avoid detection but you can't, there's no getting through un-detected. I can see both garage lights (below the camera) mounted on the wall next to the door and all the way to the ground. I can see everything to the left and everything to the right (that I need to see). I can see the other end of the cup-de-sac which is about 350 ft away. I have the other mounted in a way that covers the front door and entry walk way after you exit view from the garage, most people don't even notice it. The night vision, motion detection lighting, and angles of the camera's work very well. They do exactly what I expected them to do. About 30ish days of back-up with 4TB, 6 camera's total. Phone app works from 3000 miles away too. No problems to speak of, unless I created them. Learn your system! Best of all. . . no subscriptions!!!! Well worth the investment. Do I recommend? Hell yeah!"

I have a Lorex NVR

"I have a Lorex NVR model N845A6. I recently added 2 new cameras, model E871AB. I enabled notifications with thumbnails. The 2 cameras send me event alerts but no thumbnail. It sends a Lorex default thumbnail instead of the captured event. I have 6 other cameras on the same NVR, model E892AB, those send the correct thumbnail. How do I fix the 2 cameras to send me the correct event thumbnail? I called and opened a support ticket and yet your support staff are unable to help and can't suggest anything to try. Also, this happens on both iOS and Android phones. Other than that the cameras work great! Please do some in-house testing and fix this incompatibility between the NVR and the 4k cameras."

Lorex and their Wi-fi cameras

"I purchased 23 Wi-fi cameras from Lorex. We had nothing but problems with them the system had long delays, image would come in and out we spent many hours and much money trying to fix the problem by improving our Internet. The Lorex representative said they would exchange the Wi-fi cameras for ethernet cameras. When it came to make the exchange they reneged forcing us to purchase a total of 46 cameras to get 23 cameras to work. They gave us a token 10% discount the same discount they gave us when we purchased the cameras initially. They will not respond to phone or email messages I send to. I have Installed 5 systems using Lorex in the past. I will not be using Lorax in the future. This has been a thoroughly frustrating experience and I'm very disappointed in Lorex. Sincerely, Reginald"
