Blank Q. (5/5)

I almost purchased the 16

"I almost purchased the 16 port switch because it came with a mounting bracket. I didn't need that many ports so I purchased the 8 port. For the price, a bracket to mount it would have been great."

Worked seamlessly with (E89) 4K Deterrence Bullet PoE Wired Cameras.

"I purchased this Lorex ePoE switch due to its its high temperature tolerances, because I intend to install it into my attic. That is where the PoE cables from my (E895AB) 4K IP Wired Cameras lead to. The switch will then connect to my ethernet network via a CAT-6 cable. I have not yet installed the switch in my attic (I first need to install a power receptacle and run the CAT-6 to my network switch), but I did test that configuration in my office using two spare cameras connected through the ePoE switch. They were recognized by my (N846) NVR without issues, so I am confident my planned attic configuration should work."

Q&A

What is the difference between the aex8 and the aex8-2?
Poe protocol and power consumption
Will the AEX-8 work with a NVR 910 recorder?
Yes, they are compatible, however take into account the number of cameras that the recorder supports.
Will this POE switch connect with the NVR that comes with the LNE9292b 8 camera system NVR (N883A64B) so I can connect add on cameras to the system (E896DD) and cameras (E893DD) so I can add those cameras without having to use 2 different NVR Recorders?? Thanks You
The E896DDD and E893DDD cameras are not compatible with the N883 series recorder, so that installation is not supported.
