"Had good luck with the 9282 zoom cameras. One of my five year old ones, (that had been hit by a tree branch two years ago), finally failed. Replaced with one I had in stock just for this purpose. It failed within 11 days. Replaced that one with one of 3 I bought to keep my stock up. It failed within 3 days. Contacted Lorex & filed a warranty. Waiting to see how they respond. Was very pleased; now very wary / disappointed."

High quality cameras
"Our company has 5 of these cameras around our building. The resolution is incredible, we can see details of vehicles from quite a distance. They have great night vision and the overall build quality is top notch. They've been through heavy rain, snow, sleet, really hot and well below freezing temps and it doesn't affect them. Only one camera has been replaced, and it was because the installer didn't protect the camera connection to the POE cable from the weather well enough. The NVR system with these cameras is a great 24/7 security system."

"I am disappointed that it did not outperform the old Google Nest cameras I have. Basically, Lorex is the same camera as the real-time camera I had 20 years ago. I would take it back, but it was such a pain installing wires through the attic that I would rather not spend all day removing it."
I bought 3 of these
"I bought 3 of these cameras to replace some others. My reason was smart motion detection for just people and vehicles. I can't have push notifications cause my phone is constantly blowing up. So I bought these to be able to receive notifications properly. Every little bug that flies by sends a notification just like the cheap cameras. So this was a waste of money. 1 of the 3 cameras suddenly went darker. I changed the setting and had to lighten it way up so it looks like the others now. Not impressed."
