"Device Storage Corrupted"
"Constantly sends warning that device storage is corrupted. I'm on my third sd card now, same problem. As soon as it hits about 32GB of stored video, "corrupted". First on a 256 sd card, now on my second 128 sd card. Also, this 2K doorbell uses 4 times as much sd space as my 4K driveway cam does. Something is not right. Not happy. Also goes offline randomly."
We bought this as a
"We bought this as a replacement for an older Lorex video doorbell (our 4th doorbell purchase all of which we installed ourselves) but we had trouble getting the unit into "Hotspot" mode. Long story short, after several calls and emails to Lorex tech support, installing a new 24v doorbell transformer, a new 24v doorbell chime (the old ones worked fine prior to this), rewiring the circuit that the transformer was on, and receiving a replacement doorbell, the doorbell was installed in less than 15 minutes. The product itself is great. Tech support was helpful and in the end, we have a new functioning video doorbell."
The system is nice for
"The system is nice for letting you know who was at your door. Since it is based on WIFI, there is normally too long of a delay for you to be "live. " So it helps to track the past. That does help catch criminals after they had time to enter, but generally not before. So you just have to have realistic expectations as to how much security they provide."
No two way talk and erratic performance
"Doorbell camera ( 2k wired/wifi) will not two way talk and has very erratic performance at best. I have replaced my router with the latest mesh system to help and it still has problems. I also purchased a new nvr just to use this doorbell I have over $700 into this doorbell and it is horrible !! I could have bought a blink and subscription for the next 10 years and been ahead cost wise Soooo disappointing and costly mistake in going this route !!"
Basically Worthless
"Can’t view live view while it is recording and if someone rings doorbell it stops recording so you get no recording of what they did after ringing doorbell."
