2. The PTZ camera is multi-format, and in addition to Lorex HD DVRs, the camera will work with recorders that support TVI, AHD, and SD (CVBS) video formats. Refer to the manual for full setup instructions.

"Coloured Night vision isn't that good, You need some ambient light. But otherwise the picture and zoom are great, digital zoom really gets you close and with cvi hookup is a breeze App sometimes looses control and maximizes the setting only happened a couple of times"

"You can not use the 25x optical zoom ability of this camera on the Lorex Home app which is the only app compatible with any current DVR available from Lorex. You can move the camera up and down left and right but the optical zoom feature is unavailable. The digital Zoom is available by pinching the screen, but all that does is magnify the pixels not giving you the same quality as the optical zoom."

Instruction on how to program and pattern are vague and un clear. Also, you can zoom in and resume scanning. It defaults to full wide."

Q&A
- Why does 1 of my ptz cameras lose video when the outdoor temp drops below 42 degrees and resumes around 50 degrees. I have ran 100 feet of siamese cable, I have checked voltage at transformer and at camera and have a .1 voltage loss. I can see the ptz moving I can see the light from the night vision traveling with my other cameras. I have even u plugged the ptz and installed a bullet camera in place but still get no video. I am about ready to replace the cable and see if that works. Any other ideas would greatly be of help thankyou

- Is there as API so I can use python code to pan, tilt, and zoom on objects that my DVR AI add-on detects? Hopefully via a connection to my LH5108 DVR, as I have three overlapping 4K Lorex CVI cameras and this would be the perfect device for my AI person tracking project as they traverse an ~270 degree combined field of view.
