After using the Lorex Connect X5 for some time, it has genuinely impressed me. The True AI Color Night Vision is phenomenal—it provides crisp, full-color footage even in very low-light conditions, capturing details that standard IR cameras miss entirely. The AI video analytics are also incredibly sharp. The person and vehicle detection are highly accurate, which significantly cuts down on false alarms, and features like loitering detection and heat mapping add massive value to the system. Combined with the crystal-clear 4K resolution and straightforward PoE installation, this is a fantastic, reliable camera for any serious security setup."

"While the cameras and PVR are great, it would have been nice to have some kind of quick setup guide included for the PVR. We found it a bit frustrating not knowing what all the settings were when trying to adjust the cameras and having to go to Google for everything seemed counterproductive especially when it didn’t work. Spending hours trying to figure things out is infuriating."
