- For Face Detection to operate, this camera requires a connection to a compatible Lorex Network Video Recorder with smart face detection technology. For a list of compatible recorders please visit: www.lorex.com/compatibility
- Audio recording is disabled by default. Audio recording without consent is illegal in certain jurisdictions. Lorex Technology does not assume liability for any use of its product that fails to conform with local laws
- Not intended for submersion in water. Installation in a sheltered location recommended.
- Cable length is dependent on product configuration. See product packaging for details.
- Mask Detection is compatible with select Lorex Network Video Recorders. For a full list of compatible recorders visit: www.lorex.com/compatibility
- Color Night Vision Booster can be enabled using the Lorex App and will light for 3 minutes when turned on.
- A microSD card can be inserted for independent recording. Data can be accessed through the camera using a web browser but will not upload to the NVR or to the cloud for mobile app viewing.

Too many false alerts, wish it was easier to use
"I do like it, but it’s not user friendly. Software doesn’t respond to areas I blocked out from alerts. All TV images keep defaulting to one camera (I have the 8). I had it expertly mounted and operated, but once they leave, twice now, it defaults to one image and areas we blocked out from alerts do it anyway. Otherwise, image is crisp clear, and operating system seems quite stable, albeit non-responsive. It’s also a bit loud all the time."

"I bought 4 of these to replace old cameras. They have a sharper picture and work well. I did not like the bright colored light that is on above the camera and could not figure out how to turn it off. So i called tech support for help. The 1st time they did not answer the phone. the 2nd time, the person did not understand what I was asking did not know how to transfer me to some one else who could help. The 3rd time the person was able to help. so now the cameras are setup how I like them."
