I was also disappointed to realize that only two cameras work with the system instead of being able to choose from any of the available cameras in the Lorex line. It wasn't clear when buying that the systems are not compatible with most of the cameras, which is weird to me. Why not just make the cameras work with any of the recorders?"

"Lorex Connect UA 4K 8-Channel PoE Network NVR — Underwhelming for the price Costs more than the Lorex 4K Fusion, but image quality doesn't measure up. Playback doesnt lets you zoom in and out, which is NOT handy for reviewing footage. Overall, not worth the price. Better and Cheaper options available Amazon."

"I bought this unit to replace a defunct 1080p recorder. After receiving the unit I realized the unit only has ethernet connectors while my camera cables require BNC connectors. I have been trying to get help from Lorex website without any success. My questions are: whether this unit can support analog cameras? And if not, what recommendation you can provide? Thank you. - Is it possible to display 8 cameras simultaneously remotely running pc software and where can you obtain the software ?
- Software is not yet available for Connect series. Cameras can be accessed via mobile app or direct connection NVR to monitor.
- My old unit, DV908-D, quit. What units do you have I can replace this with?
